Magnetic Eyelashes: Yay or Nay?

I don’t typically wear false eyelashes, but these magnetic eyelashes were given to me for Christmas, so I made a video about my experience. They held up pretty well to my surprise, except for falling off when sweeping my bangs from in front of my eyes. By the end of the day, as I finished this video, I didn’t realize that one of the magnets on my right eyelash was not sticking. After having reapplied the gel liner after my workout and shower, it had been about 6 hours before I was on camera again, not realizing the gel liner had worn off on part of my lid (but perhaps that was my error by not putting it on thick enough).

I did apply them again each morning over the next two days. It became easier to apply them and to wear them.  I didn’t notice them as much as I did on the first day, and I didn’t lose either of them.

I checked out a few videos before attempting to try these magnetic lashes myself, including a very informative video by Dr. Rupa Wong who is an eye surgeon.
